Pete Davidson criticizes high-earning social media influencers

Comedian Pete Davidson has criticized social media influencers, specifically targeting those who earn significant income from mundane content such as 'Get Ready With Me' videos and TikTok dances. In an interview with Variety, Davidson expressed frustration with creators who he claims make approximately $40 million a year for what he described as doing 'nothing,' stating, “The world’s broken.” He jokingly noted that he considers launching an OnlyFans account roughly once a week as a potential alternative to his current career.

Content creator Sophie Rain, who claims to earn $45 million annually, responded to Davidson’s comments on social media. Rain defended the profession, noting that while the income may seem easy, it requires significant work. She shared that she previously worked a nine-to-five job as a server for three and a half years before transitioning to social media content creation.
