Pete Davidson discusses how fatherhood has changed his life and career

Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has stated that becoming a father has fundamentally altered his lifestyle, career priorities, and approach to sobriety. In an interview with Interview Magazine, Davidson discussed how the birth of his daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, in December 2025 has changed his decision-making process.

Davidson, who shares Scottie with model Elsie Hewitt, noted that he now evaluates acting opportunities based on how long they would keep him away from his child and the location of the filming. He expressed a desire for his daughter to grow up feeling secure and proud of both her parents, despite his and Hewitt's separation in May 2026.

Regarding his personal health, Davidson mentioned that fatherhood has strengthened his commitment to maintaining sobriety. He also touched upon his upcoming film, ‘How to Rob a Bank’, directed by David Leitch, in which he plays a father driven by family circumstances.
