Scott Davidson was a New York City firefighter with Ladder Company 118 in Brooklyn Heights who died while responding to the World Trade Center attacks. Pete Davidson recently welcomed a daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, with model Elsie Hewitt. The comedian noted that both parents agreed on the name to honor his late father, whose nickname was Scotty.

Davidson reflected on the emotional weight of the anniversary, noting that his daughter appears drawn to photographs of her grandfather. He expressed a desire to find a way to explain his father’s death to her as she grows up.
