Peter Brock memorial exhibition to feature $12 million car collection

A touring car exhibition valued at over $12 million is set to debut at The Bend in South Australia this weekend. The ‘Touring Car Icons’ display features 11 significant Australian racing vehicles spanning five decades of motorsport history.

The exhibition holds particular significance as it coincides with the 20th anniversary of the death of racing legend Peter Brock. Featured vehicles include Brock’s 1978 Bathurst-winning Holden Torana A9X and his 1986 Holden Dealer Team VK Commodore Group A.

In addition to Brock’s machinery, the collection includes cars raced by prominent figures such as Craig Lowndes, Allan Moffat, Dick Johnson, and Mark Skaife. The display will be held at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park during the AirTouch 500 weekend from September 11–13.
