Peter Byck to discuss regenerative grazing at UW-River Falls
Award-winning filmmaker Peter Byck will host a screening and discussion of his docuseries, ‘Roots So Deep’, at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on September 15th. The event is free and public.
The four-part docuseries examines adaptive multi-paddock grazing, a technique that mimics historic bison herd movements to restore depleted soil, rebuild wildlife habitats, and trap atmospheric carbon while increasing farm profits.
Byck, a professor of practice at Arizona State University, will be joined by Dr. Jason Rowntree, a professor from Michigan State and co-director of the Center for Regenerative Agriculture, to discuss the scientific and agricultural implications of the research.
