Peter Gabriel releases new single ‘Face The Wall’

Musician Peter Gabriel has released his latest single, ‘Face The Wall’, as part of a series of monthly releases coinciding with every full moon for his upcoming studio album.

The song explores themes of aging, illness, and confronting mortality. Gabriel described the track as a cathartic process, noting that while the musical intensity increases as the song progresses, the lyrics aim to provide a sense of hope.

In keeping with his recent release strategy, the track was produced with both ‘Bright-Side’ and ‘Dark-Side’ mixes; the latter was provided for this specific release. The single is accompanied by cover art featuring Tadashi Kawamata’s sculpture, ‘The Nest. Amos Rex’, photographed by Mika Huisman.
