Peter Kaiser receives high Styrian state honor

Peter Kaiser has been awarded the Grand Golden Decoration of Honor of the State of Styria with the Star, one of the highest honors in the region. The award was presented by Styrian Governor Mario Kunasek during a ceremony at the Old University.

The recognition highlights Kaiser’s long-standing role in fostering cooperation between the neighboring states of Styria and Carinthia. Discussions during the ceremony emphasized shared projects, such as the Koralm Railway, which serves as a physical link between the two regions. Political leaders from both states attended the event, noting that the partnership extends beyond transportation into economic, social, and educational sectors.
