Peter Pannekoek Discusses Time Management as First Guest of Zomergasten's Final Season

Cabaretier Peter Pannekoek appeared as the inaugural guest of the 39th and final season of the Dutch interview programme Zomergasten. He described time as his most valuable asset and explained that he plans his days down to the minute, working primarily between midnight and four a.m. to feel productive during daylight hours. Pannekoek said he dislikes idle periods and prefers to use every free moment, calling himself a "controlfreak" in the sense that he seeks to manage what can be controlled, such as the conditions of his theatrical performances.

The VPRO has announced that Zomergasten will cease after this season, though the broadcaster is exploring the possibility of reviving the format in a different guise.
