Peter Pellegrini criticizes journalist over Trump photo inquiry

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini released a video response criticizing a journalist's question regarding his meeting with Donald Trump in New York. During a visit for the UN General Assembly in September, Pellegrini met with the U.S. President at a working dinner to discuss energy, defense, investments, and economic cooperation.

Pellegrini expressed frustration after a journalist from Markíza television asked whether a photograph taken after a reception featured the actual Donald Trump or a life-sized model. Pellegrini dismissed the inquiry as “the pinnacle of Slovak journalism,” clarifying that the photo was taken following a session where presidents and prime ministers were invited to speak with Trump personally.
