Peter Remmert sets 3. Liga record with six-minute hattrick

Peter Remmert, a player on loan from FC Schalke 04, set a new 3. Liga record by scoring a hattrick within just six minutes. The feat occurred during MSV Duisburg’s 3-2 comeback victory against TSG Hoffenheim II.

Remmert, who entered the match as a substitute in the second half, scored his three goals in rapid succession between the 71st and 77th minutes. This performance overturned a 0-2 deficit, securing MSV Duisburg’s seventh win in eight matches and strengthening their position at the top of the table.

MSV Duisburg coach Dietmar Hirsch described the dramatic turnaround as “unbelievable,” comparing the atmosphere to Hollywood. The record-breaking hattrick surpassed the previous 3. Liga record of seven minutes, which had stood since 2009.
