Peter Schiff regrets never buying Bitcoin

Peter Schiff, founder of SchiffGold and independent investment adviser at Euro Pacific Asset Management, posted on X that many people, himself included, will regret not having bought Bitcoin when they first learned of it. He added that more people will later regret not having sold Bitcoin above $60,000 than those who missed the buying opportunity.

Schiff emphasized that his comment does not change his investment stance: he would not purchase Bitcoin even if the price fell to $20,000. The remarks came amid heightened market attention after Bitcoin briefly fell below $62,000 due to geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran and then rose above $65,000.

Despite the rare admission of a missed opportunity, Schiff maintained his long‑standing view that Bitcoin lacks intrinsic value, reiterating his skepticism despite the temporary price swings.
