Peter Sheehan appointed Managing Director of Texel Air Australasia

Texel Air Australasia announced that Peter Sheehan will assume the role of Managing Director for the region, effective 22 July 2026. Based in Brisbane, Sheehan will report directly to the Chairman and Board and will oversee commercial growth, operational performance, customer relations and strategic execution across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia‑Pacific.

Sheehan brings a long background in airport cargo strategy and airline leadership, previously heading cargo initiatives at Sydney Airport, developing the cargo precinct at Western Sydney International Airport, and serving as CEO of Nauru Airlines, among other senior roles. Chairman John Chisholm said the appointment marks a key milestone for the company’s next phase of expansion, while Sheehan expressed enthusiasm for driving sustainable growth and strengthening operational performance.
