Peter Thiel visits São Paulo with delegation to meet AI startup Enter
Billionaire investor Peter Thiel and a delegation of at least 15 associates recently visited São Paulo, Brazil. Internal hotel records from the Rosewood indicate the group traveled under the designation ‘Thiel Capital & Presidio One’, which includes Thiel’s personal investment firm and a related entity based in Los Angeles.
Thiel’s visit coincided with activities involving the Brazilian legal AI startup, Enter. Thiel arrived in the city on April 30 to meet with the company’s team during an investment phase. His venture capital firm, Founders Fund, subsequently led a $100 million funding round for Enter, propelling the startup to a valuation exceeding $1 billion and earning it unicorn status.
Beyond the investment in Enter, the delegation included high-level staff such as personal executive assistant Hanna Leeke and Thiel Capital’s Chief Technology Officer Andrew Dias. While the visit included meetings with business executives to discuss artificial intelligence and international affairs, no direct link has been established between the trip and Brazilian electoral activities.
