Peter Vader wins fourth Dutch Town Crier Championship

Peter Vader, a town crier from Zwolle, has won the Dutch Championship of Town and Village Criers for the fourth time. During the 2026 championships, juries praised Vader for his powerful and clear voice, engaging humor, and high-quality content.

Vader has long represented Zwolle by blending tradition with current events. Following this national victory, he has been selected to participate in the Chester World Towncriers Tournament from September 21 to 26, where he will compete against 25 participants from countries including Australia, the United States, Canada, England, Germany, and Belgium.
