Peterborough man arrested for internet luring of a minor

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Peterborough County Detachment has arrested 33-year-old Aaron Paulson in connection with the internet luring of a minor. The investigation began after a parent reported finding sexually explicit images of an adult male on their 12-year-old child’s tablet, along with unauthorized social media conversations.

Following a search warrant executed in Peterborough, Paulson was charged with multiple offenses, including luring a person under 18 via telecommunication, possession of child sexual abuse material, and making sexually explicit material available to a minor. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
