Peters Township football prepares for transition season

The Peters Township football team is entering a period of transition following the graduation of 19 seniors from their championship-winning squad. Head coach TJ Plack, entering his 11th year, noted that the team is focused on “building a team” rather than rebuilding, emphasizing the need for organization and consistent leadership.

The program is working to fill significant vacancies, including the quarterback position previously held by Nolan DiLucia. Talen Stauffer is expected to take over the role. Despite the roster changes, the team maintains strength in its offensive and defensive lines, returning three starters. Brady O’Connor, a three-year starter, has been named “captain’s captain” by his teammates and will transition from tackle to guard while also playing defensive end.
