Peters Township wins Class 3A title at TriCADA Golf Tournament

Peters Township secured the Class 3A team championship at the TriCADA Golf Tournament held at Nemacolin Country Club. The team finished with a score of 376, leading second-place Canon-McMillan by 36 strokes. Caden Benson of Peters Township earned the individual title with an even-par 72.

In the Class 2A division, Charleroi took the team championship with a score of 423, followed by Avella in second and McGuffey in third. Laurel Highlands senior Kayden Smith finished as the individual runner-up, shooting a two-over-par 74.

Other notable results included Trinity finishing third in Class 3A and Peters Township White taking fourth. The tournament saw varying conditions due to intermittent rain showers.
