Peti Kabát detained by police at Bogotá airport

Peti Kabát, a former footballer and reality TV personality, was detained by police at the Bogotá airport in Colombia. He was selected from among thousands of passengers and held in a closed room for several hours while authorities conducted document checks.

Kabát initially believed the situation was a prank orchestrated by the production crew of the show ‘Celeb vagyok, ments ki innen!’, for which he traveled to Colombia. The situation was complicated by a language barrier, as the officers spoke Spanish while he attempted to communicate in English, and a lack of mobile phone signal prevented him from seeking immediate assistance.

After several hours, the paperwork issues were resolved, allowing him to continue his journey toward the Colombian jungle. Kabát is participating in the new season of the program in a special role rather than as a contestant.
