Petit wins St-Ursanne hill climb as Balsamo claims Egmont Cycling Race victory
In the FIA European Hill Climb Championship, Kevin Petit secured his first seasonal victory at the 81st Course de Côte St-Ursanne – Les Rangiers. Driving a Nova Proto NP01, Petit dominated the Category 2 class, finishing ahead of competitors Joseba Iraola and Petr Trnka.
Fausto Bormolini delivered a standout performance in the P2 Group with his Wolf Mistral, marking a significant result for the Italian driver. Meanwhile, Antonino Migliuolo struggled to capitalize on the absence of Christian Merli.
In cycling, Elisa Balsamo won the 4th Egmont Cycling Race in Zottegem. The Lidl-Trek rider won the Belgian semi-classic by outperforming Helene Hesters and Minke Anderson.
In the men's Tour du Limousin, French rider Noa Isidore of Decathlon CMA CGM won the first stage at Dun le Palestel, securing a professional victory in a sprint finish.
