Ernest Petry resigns from HDZ leadership in Croatia

In Croatia, Ernest Petry has resigned from his position as head of the HDZ County Organization for Lika-Senj County following public scrutiny regarding his conduct in Gospić. While Petry remains the County Prefect, Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandroković described the resignation as a “logical decision,” noting that the party's county organization will select his successor. The incident follows reports of Petry's behavior in a local pub, which has drawn criticism from political figures like Gordan Maras.

In Montenegro, the Parliament is scheduled to debate proposed constitutional amendments concerning the Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils and the Central Bank.
