Petorca Municipality launches investigation into alleged drunk driving incident

The Municipality of Petorca has announced an administrative investigation following allegations that a municipal minibus driver operated a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 24, during a trip to Algarrobo intended to transport children and adults supporting a local sports team.

The group ‘La Bandita del Bruno’, a supporters' association for the Petorca selection, raised the complaint, expressing concern for the safety of the passengers, particularly the children involved. The municipality issued a public statement lamenting the official’s behavior and confirmed that teams are on the ground to clarify the facts and determine responsibilities.
