Petr Janda recovers following heart ablation procedure

Musician Petr Janda has reported experiencing recent heart and gallbladder-related pains, which resulted in weight loss. These issues follow complications from late 2024, including a suspected heart attack and severe arrhythmia that led to a hospitalization at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM).

In January 2025, Janda underwent a catheter ablation procedure to treat the arrhythmia. The procedure involves using a thin catheter to heat and destroy the specific tissue causing the irregular heart rhythm. Janda stated that he is currently feeling well, has regained strength, and is pleased with his improved physical condition.
