Petra Fagerström debuts Spring 2027 collection in London

Designer Petra Fagerström has debuted her Spring 2027 collection, titled ‘Swedish Summer,’ during her first London runway presentation. The Central Saint Martins alumna, a finalist for the LVMH Prize, focused the collection on the duality of women, utilizing silhouettes that blend conservative archetypes with rebellious elements.

Key design features include the use of unexpected materials, such as leather reimagined into Bar jackets, and hand-stitched lenticular pleats that create shifting visual effects. The collection also emphasizes sustainability, utilizing organic and recycled fibers alongside low-impact digital printing techniques. The aesthetic draws inspiration from a fusion of lush nature and futuristic architecture, featuring a palette ranging from emerald green to metallic tones.

Additionally, Fagerström introduced her first line of leather goods, a handbag developed in collaboration with London-based designer Eden Tan.
