Petra Janů addresses health issues and concert cancellations

Czech singer Petra Janů has addressed recent concerns regarding her health after being forced to cancel scheduled performances in Doupravá u Karviné and Mrsklesy u Olomouce.

Janů reported experiencing sudden and severe digestive issues, though she stated she is unsure of the exact cause. She noted that while some media reports may have exaggerated the severity of her condition, she did undergo a difficult period of illness at her cottage.

The 73-year-old singer indicated that she is now recovering and is “out of the worst of it.” During her convalescence, she has been following a restricted diet of tea and dry rolls to manage her symptoms. She expressed gratitude for the support of a friend and a physician who assisted with her recovery.
