Petra Sodja bakes nature-inspired cakes during Scandinavian journey

Petra Sodja, the creator behind P'Cakes, embarked on a month-long journey through Scandinavia to bake in remote nature cabins. Known for pioneering a natural style of cake decorating that uses flowers, twigs, and berries instead of heavy sugar frosting, Sodja sought to connect her culinary creations with the specific landscapes where they were made.

Accompanied by her husband, Jure, Sodja traveled by car with essential baking equipment to live a simple life in organic, nature-integrated cabins. The project aimed to capture the Scandinavian relationship with nature and the concept of modesty as a form of luxury through a series of unique desserts inspired by the local environments.
