Petrobras Futuros cultural center launches free art and technology program

The Petrobras Futuros — Arte e Tecnologia cultural center in Flamengo is launching a free programming series featuring 30 projects from 12 Brazilian states. Selected through the ‘Brasilidades & Futuros’ public call, these activities will remain available to the public until April 2027.

Initial highlights include the exhibition ‘Nhe e Se: desejo de fala’, showcasing works by 13 contemporary indigenous artists, and the multimedia installation ‘Imunidade’. Musical performances include the duo Uaná System, the funk-inspired show ‘Donas do baile’, and DJ Vhoor. The program aims to explore the convergence of diverse knowledge, art, and technology.

In September, the theater group Armatrux will present ‘Mordida exploratória’, a play addressing environmental crises, memory, and consumption.
