Petrobras Pushes Ahead with Major Offshore Equipment Contracts

Petrobras' deepwater SEAP (Sergipe Águas Profundas) project in the Sergipe‑Alagoas basin has attracted a competitive bid from OneSubsea, Baker Hughes and TechnipFMC to supply up to 32 submerged Christmas trees (ANMs) valued at roughly R$ 3 billion. The equipment, essential for controlling pressure, flow and temperature on offshore wells, is part of a larger R$ 60 billion development that includes two platforms and 32 production wells.

Separately, Brazilian firm Nuclep reported the delivery of five additional torpedo piles—three T‑35 models and two T‑24 models—to Petrobras, bringing its 2026 total to 11 of the 37 slated for the year. These piles will be used to anchor subsea systems in several offshore fields, including Marlim, Atapu, Roncador and the Campos Basin, fulfilling contractual milestones that run through 2028.
