Petrobras workers called to assemblies over 2026 profit sharing

Petrobras workers in Brazil are being called to assemblies to deliberate on the 2026 Profit Sharing (PLR) and variable remuneration proposals. The discussions involve various entities within the Petrobras system, including Transpetro and TBG.

In Rio de Janeiro, Sindipetro-RJ has called for assemblies to debate the proposal, with union leadership urging workers to reject the current terms. The union argues the proposal is insufficient compared to corporate earnings and seeks to use the rejection to strengthen future negotiations regarding worker rights and benefits.

In São Paulo, the Unified Union of Oil Workers (Sindipetro-SP) has issued a formal notice for extraordinary general assemblies. These meetings will cover the voting of the 2026/2027 PLR indicative, variable remuneration, and the approval of a 2% assistance contribution on net variable remuneration to support union activities.
