Petrolimex announces dividend payout and digital service launch
Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has announced plans to pay 2025 dividends in cash at a rate of 12% of par value. With approximately 1.27 billion shares in circulation, the company expects to distribute over 1,500 billion VND. The record date for shareholders to exercise their rights is August 5, with payment expected on August 20.
Additionally, the company's Board of Directors has issued a resolution to adjust its treasury stock sale plan. Petrolimex intends to sell nearly 23.3 million treasury shares to meet public company requirements and strengthen its long-term financial capacity. These transactions are expected to take place on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).
In a move toward digital transformation, Petrolimex has also launched the Petrolimex 2.0 application and a co-branded card set in partnership with BIDV and Visa. The new digital platform allows customers to manage fuel orders, integrate cashless payments, track real-time fuel costs, and manage electronic invoices across the company's nationwide network of gas stations.
