Petrolimex revenue jumps 49% as TCBS posts record profit

Petrolimex reported consolidated revenue of VND 215,000 billion for the first six months of 2026, a 49% increase year‑on‑year, while pre‑tax profit slipped 2% to VND 1,960 billion. Sales volume exceeded 10 million m³, up 14.2% from the same period last year. The company highlighted strong domestic demand, expanded its E10 bio‑fuel network to 2,832 stations, and set a 2026 target of VND 330,000 billion revenue and VND 3,380 billion profit. Deputy Prime Minister Phạm Gia Túc praised Petrolimex’s role in securing fuel supply and urged continued investment in infrastructure and digital transformation.

Securities firm TCBS announced its highest‑ever quarterly pre‑tax profit of VND 2,097 billion for Q2 2026, a 21% rise, with revenue of VND 3,745 billion up 41%. Six‑month profit reached VND 3,555 billion, covering 47% of the annual target. The broker retained market‑leading positions in corporate bond underwriting (≈48% share) and maintained top‑three brokerage shares on the HOSE and HNX. TCBS also advanced its digital agenda, launching AI‑driven risk management tools, expanding its WealthTech platform, and supporting the licensing of its crypto‑asset exchange subsidiary, TCEX. These results underscore robust growth in Vietnam’s energy and financial services sectors.
