Petrolina completes road maintenance on 2,750 km of rural routes
The municipality of Petrolina has completed road maintenance and pothole repairs on approximately 2,750 km of rural roads through the Secretariat of Rural Development (SEDRU). This progress is part of a larger municipal goal to improve 3,500 km of interior roads by the end of the year.
Recent work focused on several localities, including Baixa do Tatu, Barreiro de Caititu, Capim de Rajada, and various areas within the irrigation project. Additionally, the local government is preparing for a R$ 3.7 million earthmoving project covering 90 km of the main road connecting the districts of Uruás, Cruz de Salinas, and others to the access point of BR-428.
