Petrolul football clubs launch business initiative and maintain league leads

In Ploiești, the ‘100 Companies for Petrolul’ initiative has been launched to create a sustainable economic mechanism for FC Petrolul Ploiești. Presented by the Alliance for Human Rights in Romania (ADOR) and FC Petrolul Ploiești, the project was formalized during a meeting at the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The initiative aims to move beyond traditional sponsorship by establishing the ‘Petrolul Business Club,’ a platform designed for networking and commercial partnerships among entrepreneurs supporting the club.

Separately, in the third league, Petrolul Berca has maintained a strong start to the season. Following a 3-0 victory against Drăgănești, the newly promoted team holds 13 points after five rounds, sharing the top position in their series with Flacăra Moreni. The team remains undefeated since their promotion from the fourth league.
