Petroperú and Repsol cut fuel prices nationwide in Peru

The Peruvian consumer watchdog Opecu reported that Petroperú and Repsol reduced the retail price of all gasoline and diesel grades by up to S/ 1.01 per gallon, taxes included. The cuts affect gasohol regular and premium (S/ 0.92 per gallon), gasoline regular and premium (S/ 1.01 per gallon), diesel B5S0 for vehicle and industrial use (S/ 0.68 per gallon), and industrial petroleum (six and 500 grades) by S/ 0.27 and S/ 0.25 per gallon respectively. LPG prices remained unchanged at S/ 2.4072 per kilogram. Opecu president Héctor Plate Cánepa confirmed that the new rates take effect today across the country.

The price reductions represent a 5‑6% drop for most fuels, providing immediate relief to motorists and businesses facing high energy costs.
