Petroperú credit outlook upgraded to positive by Moody's

Moody's Ratings has changed the credit outlook for Petroperú from negative to positive. While the agency maintained the company's corporate rating at Caa1, the shift in outlook reflects an improved liquidity position following a US$ 475 million bridge disbursement and progress toward larger-scale financing.

ProInversión noted that this change signals a recovery in market confidence and recognizes the implementation of financial discipline measures intended to ensure operational continuity. To ensure transparency, international banking resources will be managed through specialized trusts and separate accounts rather than the company's general fund. These controlled resources are expected to help normalize relations with strategic suppliers and increase raw material availability for the Talara Refinery.
