Petroperú sells non‑strategic real estate in first public auction

Peru's private investment promotion agency, Proinversión, conducted the first public auction of non‑strategic real‑estate assets owned by state oil company Petroperú. Two of the four offered properties were awarded: the historic Chalet Paillardelle in San Isidro, sold for USD 779,100, and the former Petrocentro Cañete, which fetched USD 400,005. The total proceeds amounted to USD 1,179,105. The auction is part of Petroperú's broader patrimonial and operational reorganization, with further sales of non‑essential assets planned under the Ministry of Economy and Finance's oversight.

The winning bidders will now proceed with payment, contract signing and final transfer of ownership, marking a milestone in the government's strategy to monetize surplus real‑estate holdings.
