Petroula Ganiou joins ‘The Chase’ as new Chaser

The sixth season of the game show ‘The Chase’, hosted by Maria Bekatorou on MEGA, has premiered with the introduction of a new Chaser known as ‘Mrs. Know-it-all’.

Petroula Ganiou, the sixth Chaser, previously appeared as a contestant on the show in 2022, where she was noted for her high level of knowledge. Ganiou holds a degree from the Philosophy School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a postgraduate degree in Ancient Greek Studies. After working as a philologist in secondary education for 24 years, she transitioned to her current role as a judicial official at the Tripoli Court of First Instance.

She joins the existing team of Chasers, which includes ‘The Mountain’, ‘The Hawk’, ‘The Woman in Black’, ‘The Unjust Inspector’, and ‘Super Boy’. The new season aims to increase the competitive intensity of the knowledge-based pursuits.
