PetroWind and PROPWR secure major energy capacity agreements

PetroWind Energy Inc. has signed a Renewable Energy Payment Agreement (REPA) with the National Transmission Corporation for its 13.56-MW Nabas Wind Power Project Phase 2 in Aklan province, Philippines. This marks the first wind energy and GEA-1 REPA signed under the Green Energy Auction Program Round 1. The project is secured with a guaranteed tariff of PHP 5.7555 per kilowatt-hour for a 20-year duration.

In the United States, ProPetro’s PROPWR division has contracted approximately 230 MW of power-generating capacity to a subsidiary of Targa Resources Corp. This capacity will support natural gas processing operations in the Permian Basin. The full deployment of this behind-the-meter power is expected by early 2028, bringing PROPWR’s total contracted capacity to approximately 510 MW.
