Peugeot and Citroën launch passenger-focused van versions in Brazil

Peugeot and Citroën are expanding their presence in the light commercial vehicle segment in Brazil with new van configurations specifically designed for passenger transport.

The Peugeot Expert introduces two new versions, Comfort and Luxo, developed in partnership with vehicle adaptation specialist Greencar. The Comfort version accommodates up to nine occupants and starts at R$ 269,790. It features reclining seats, individual USB ports, rear air conditioning, and enhanced thermal and acoustic insulation. The Luxo version focuses on executive comfort, offering up to eight seats and an 18-liter minibar. Both versions utilize a 2.2 turbodiesel engine producing 150 cv.

Similarly, the Citroën Jumpy Comfort is targeting professional passenger transport, specifically for hotels and rental companies. This model emphasizes passenger experience through reclining seats and individual USB charging ports.

A key feature for both brands is that these vehicles can be driven with a standard Category B driver's license, allowing companies to expand their fleet without requiring specialized bus licenses.
