Peugeot begins Rifter production at Tofaş plant in Bursa

Peugeot Turkey announced that its light‑commercial vehicle, the Rifter, will be manufactured at the Tofaş factory in Bursa starting in the third quarter of 2026. The move, presented by brand director Gupse Kaplan, is part of the company’s “Made in Turkey” strategy and aims to deepen the brand’s presence in the Turkish market while using the country’s strong automotive ecosystem, logistics advantages and skilled workforce.

The Rifter addition follows Peugeot’s earlier entry into the Turkish C‑segment with the Partner range and is expected to broaden the model mix at the historic Tofaş plant, raise export capacity and reinforce Turkey’s role in the global automotive supply chain.
