Peugeot expands electrified vehicle lineup with hybrid and electric models
Peugeot is expanding its electrified vehicle lineup, offering a diverse range of electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid solutions to accommodate different driving needs, from urban commuting to long-distance travel.
The brand currently features 12 fully electric models, including the compact E-208, the E-2008, and the E-308. Newer generations such as the E-3008 and the seven-seater E-5008, built on the STLA Medium platform, represent a significant shift in the company's technological capabilities. Additionally, the E-408 offers a crossover-fastback design.
Electrification has also extended to Peugeot's commercial vehicle segment, with electric versions available for the Partner, Rifter, Expert, Traveller, and Boxer models, targeting professional users in urban environments. The company's strategy also includes high-performance plug-in hybrids, such as the updated Peugeot 308 PHEV, which delivers 195 horsepower and features enhanced design elements and aerodynamics.
