Peugeot launches 2027 208 and 2008 models in Brazil with price cuts
Peugeot has officially launched the 2027 lineup for the 208 and 2008 models in Brazil. Produced in El Palomar, Argentina, both the hatchback and SUV feature updates to their trim levels, wheel designs, and color options.
A significant mechanical change involves the 1.0 Turbo 200 engine, which has been recalibrated to deliver 115 hp with both gasoline and ethanol, while maintaining 20.4 kgfm of torque. The GT versions now utilize MHEV nomenclature to denote their 12V mild-hybrid systems.
The 208 lineup has been streamlined to three configurations: the Style 1.0 manual, the Allure Turbo 200 AT, and the GT MHEV Turbo 200 AT. Prices for the 208 have seen reductions of up to R$ 13,000. The 2008 maintains its three-tier structure but has undergone price repositioning of up to R$ 22,000. New color options, such as Branco Okénite, have also been introduced to the catalog.
