Peugeot upgrades Allure and GT trims with more equipment

Peugeot has announced a significant update to its vehicle trim levels across its entire lineup, ranging from the 208 to the 5008. Starting October 1, the existing Allure and GT trims will be replaced by Allure Plus and GT Plus versions.

This change involves increasing the standard equipment provided to customers without raising vehicle prices. The value of the additional equipment is estimated to be worth up to 1,750 euros depending on the specific model and version. Key upgrades include features such as parking sensors, connected navigation, adaptive cruise control, and induction smartphone charging for various models.

Additionally, Peugeot is extending the free subscription period for its Connect Plus service from six months to four years for models equipped with navigation. This strategic move follows market observations that some models were priced higher than their offered equipment levels, and it serves as a response to increased competition from manufacturers offering generous standard features.
