Pevex donates €100,000 for Vukovar stadium construction

The company Pevex d.d. has signed a donation agreement with the City of Vukovar to provide €100,000 for the construction of the ‘12 Croatian Guardsmen’ Stadium. The agreement was signed by Vukovar Mayor Marijan Pavliček and Pevex Board President Krešimir Bubalo.

The new sports facility is planned for the site of the existing stadium in the Borovo settlement and is designed to include 4,788 seats. The project aims to improve football conditions and support sports development in the region.

Mayor Pavliček noted that the city is conducting a donation campaign to secure funds for the project, seeking support from various local government units across Croatia. Pevex executive Krešimir Bubalo emphasized the company's commitment to social responsibility and its long-standing presence in Vukovar, which includes supporting local initiatives like the People's Kitchen.
