The Croatian retail chain PEVEX has opened its 35th sales center in Požega, marking an investment of more than nine million euros. The new facility covers 4,700 square meters and sits on a total area of nearly 18,000 square meters.

The opening has created 47 new jobs in the region. The center offers over 20,000 products across eight categories, including construction, hardware, garden and seasonal goods, electronics, home and design, ceramics and sanitary ware, household appliances, and consumer goods.

PEVEX CEO Krešimir Bubalo stated that the expansion into the center of Slavonia is part of a long-term strategic plan to increase accessibility for customers. Following the Požega opening, the company plans further expansions in Karlovac, Sisak, New Zagreb, Koprivnica, Opuzen, Split, and Velika Gorica.
