Peyton Manning unlikely to seek Indianapolis Colts GM role

Peyton Manning is not expected to be a candidate for the vacant general manager position with the Indianapolis Colts, according to reports from Adam Schefter. While some reports suggested the franchise had reached out to Manning to gauge his interest following the dismissal of former general manager Chris Ballard, Manning has reportedly not expressed aspiration to become an NFL general manager.

Manning has focused on his broadcasting career since retiring from the NFL in 2016. The Colts' leadership change follows a period of struggle for the team, which has lost 11 of its last 13 games.
