PEZA surpasses ₱300 billion investment target for 2026

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has exceeded its full-year investment target of ₱300 billion, recording ₱309.629 billion in approved investments from January to October 2026. This represents a 76.56% increase compared to the ₱175.365 billion approved during the same period in 2025.

Between January and October, the PEZA Board approved 240 new and expansion projects. These initiatives are expected to generate US$9.124 billion in exports and create 38,815 direct jobs for Filipinos. The projects cover various sectors, including export manufacturing, information technology and business process management (IT-BPM), logistics, utilities, and tourism.

PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga stated that surpassing the target ahead of year-end reflects continued investor confidence in the Philippines. With current performance, the agency is positioned to potentially surpass the all-time investment high of ₱311.9 billion set in 2012.
