Pfisterer invests 2.7 million USD in US production expansion
Pfisterer Holding SE is investing approximately 2.7 million USD to expand its production capabilities at its facility in Rochester, New York. The investment includes the installation of three additional CNC turning machines, new tools, and specialized production equipment. This expansion aims to increase the manufacturing capacity for SICON electrical and mechanical cable connection components to two and a half times its current level.
The move is driven by high demand in the United States, which currently accounts for more than half of the global sales for the SICON system. The company intends to shift more production for the American market from Germany to the US to improve supply security, reduce delivery times, and increase flexibility. This demand is largely fueled by the expansion of power infrastructure and the rapid growth of data centers required for artificial intelligence technologies.
