Pforzheim citizens favor Enz riverbanks for potential state garden show
The city of Pforzheim has concluded its public participation process regarding a potential bid for a state garden show (Landesgartenschau). Results from both online and in-person engagement formats indicate that residents across all age groups, including youth, favor the Enz riverbanks as the central focus of the project.
Mayor Tobias Volle stated that the city will use this feedback to anchor its application, specifically focusing on the Enz river area. Common suggestions from citizens include riverbank renaturation, increased shading, and improved direct access to the water. Other areas identified for potential improvement include the city center, the Stadtgarten, and the Nagold riverbanks.
