Pforzheim hosts student exchange from Częstochowa

A group of approximately ten students from Częstochowa, Poland, is visiting Pforzheim, Germany, for an educational exchange running from September 28 to October 7. The program is facilitated through a 20-year partnership between the Pforzheim Goldsmith School and Watchmaking School and the Zespół Szkół Plastycznych art school in Częstochowa.

The exchange focuses on combining various artistic disciplines, including goldsmithing, graphics, and ceramics, while merging traditional craftsmanship with digital design. Pforzheim Mayor Frank Fillbrunn officially welcomed the group at the New Town Hall, noting that the partnership allows young people to share professional experiences and creative ideas across borders. The collaboration leverages the artistic strengths of both cities, connecting Pforzheim’s reputation as a center for jewelry and design with Częstochowa’s diverse art scene and traditional artistic training.
