Pforzheim Jobcenter holds annual health day for unemployed citizens

The Pforzheim Jobcenter and statutory health insurance providers, led by AOK Nordschwarzwald, held their annual health day on September 17. This event is part of a ten-year collaboration aimed at promoting the health of unemployed individuals through the ‘teamwork for health and work’ program.

Participants had access to information regarding nutrition, exercise, and relaxation, alongside live workouts, health checks, and vaccination counseling. Social Mayor Frank Fillbrunn opened the event, noting that health is a vital prerequisite for returning to the workforce. Cornelia Schatz of AOK Nordschwarzwald emphasized that the partnership provides low-threshold, practical access to health promotion where it is most needed.
